"Talbot, Talbot, look..."

Sheeeeeeeeeeeet. Russell Edgington has lost his damn mind.

Who watched the latest episode of True Blood? That was some scary shit, man. Enough to make me never fantasize about having a vampire lover like all those Twihards do.

Does anybody have a clue as to what Crystal and her "kin" are? My imagination just doesn't go that far. At first I was thinking some kind of animal, b/c she was sniffing the air when her and Jason first hooked up, and then that comment in this episode about her man being able to escape handcuffs. They can't be shapeshifters; Sam (and that asshole Tommy) already has that on lock. But all I keep thinking about is the dude turning into a snake or something to get out of the rope... What the hell are those hillbillies?

And WHAAAAAT?! Franklin was never dead? That's what happens when you smash a vampire's brains in w/a mace BUT forget to stake his heart.

And WHAT is Sookie? They cannot keep holding out on us. I must know.

  1. I'm really confused on if Franklin is dead or not. I assumed he wasn't, because she didn't stake his heart, but then Talbot said that he just finished cleaning up Franklin's brains, which makes me think maybe he is dead?! I don't know.

  4. I was SO pissed when they didn't tell us what Sookie is. Pissed.

And the hillbillies *have* to be some sort of animal, right? I mean, the whole scent and sniffing thing.

    Only three episodes! Aaahh!

  5. I don't have that channel, so I don't watch this program, but I have to say the photo on this post made me think of "Dark Shadows"! Good luck to all of you who watch; I think I need to take Kim's advice and start Netflixing this!

  6. the idea floating around my group of friends is that they are feral cats- which doesn't make sense because what's so magical about a mangy cat? but maybe they are some sort of feline thing.

and sookie- maybe she's some sort of wood nymph? or something completely made up by charlene harris.

and hellopa- i think you might be behind an episode....

  7. wait till you see the most recent episode, Lauren...oh man, will that answer that question for you! it gets pretty exciting w/that whole Franklin thing!

yes, Kim & Jennifer, you guys do need to netflix the first two seasons...seriously, one of my favorite shows (as is everything Alan Ball does)...and I know nothing about "Dark Shadows," but I'm going to google that now...

HOW WERE YOU LAUGHING, Hannah??? I was freaking out! that last scene with Russell on the news??? omg, and then it started thundering really loud and I live out in the middle of the woods...I had to watch some Daria to calm myself down so I could fall asleep...though I could see how you might laugh at the absurdity of it...it was a little over the top...

I can't believe there are only 3 episodes left, Laura! why'd you have to remind me of that?!?!???? and, yeah, I totally agree...they have to be some kind of non-shapeshifting-non-werewolf animal...

HAH feral cats...I think that just sounds good...maybe feral puppies, with the sniffing...or feral ponies, with the getting out of handcuffs b/c they (seem to) have small ankles...and I could see wood nymph...wood nymphs who shoot light from their fingers...that makes sense, since charlene isn't really straying from the typical creatures w/the vampires, werewolves, and shapeshifters...they better reveal this next week.

  8. OMG. This episode was sooooo good. I cant wait to see the rest of the season, but I don't want it to be over!!!

I have no idea what those stupid hillbillies are. What can get out of handcuffs but not rope?

I was so irritated when Franklin came back. That plotline was seriously getting tedious. At least they wrapped it up quickly.

They gave a shout out to Portland, OR Woohoo!

Russell is a total freakshow. Is he planning on carrying that jar around forever? I imagine it smells.

...and have you seen the cover of Rolling Stone??? Wow.

  12. Jennifer--YES, I totally agree w/the Franklin thing...I was like, you go, gurrrrrl when Tara was giving him shit...and thank god Jason was there to kill him, b/c I was OVER HIM like 4 episodes ago...hahahaaaaaa and I could see him carrying that around, that psychopath.

SHIT, MAN. I just looked up the cover. thank you for sharing that with me! damn, those sexy muthafuckas.

Lauren--it's allllll good, man, I knew what you meant! I have to say that I didn't even question him being killed by Tara, so at least you had that on me, to suspect otherwise...I was like, hmmm, I guess smashing in a vamp's skull w/a mace will do it. who knew.

Kim--yeeeeeah, dude! I JUST finished watching the last episode from the box set last night...have been netflixing it for the past 2 months...am about to watch the two movies, since they're on the last disc, too (thank god, b/c they were next on my queue)...SO GOOD!

Mallory--yeeeeeees, that is him! I'm still trying to figure out where else I've seen him, but he is fantastic in this show (which makes sense now that you've said that, b/c in my mind all theatre actors are usually really good actors)...seriously, I think you would appreciate the casting of the show, b/c they did a phenomenal job securing the acting chops...of course, if you sometimes disregard Anna Paquin's or Alexander Skaarsgard's...

  13. I know that I need to get into it... One of my favorite shows EVER is Six Feet Under... and Alan Ball created that AND True Blood, so... I feel like I have to like it. The end.
