whad up

Taking a break from studying to return to my guilty habit: this thing. Hey. I had killer plans with this cool cat to go up to NY this wknd for Fashion's Night Out, but we both had to cancel due to our respective workloads. So this is how I took a break from the cramming last night: ginger and creamsicle-like broth. At least that's what my poor palette has always likened the latter to. Better when you ingest them simultaneously; party in your mouth.

And this sums up all the noteworthy moments in my life from this past week:

  3. kaaaaate! even though I've been avoiding reading blogs this week so I can be more productive, I noticed today when I was speed reading through my Reader that you hadn't posted anything! I know you're going through a lot right now, including work, and I hope everything calms down, including your workload...hugs!!!

    and you know what I was thinking today, Jennifer? have you ever been to the PA Renaissance Faire? it was like the coolest field trip EVER when I was in middle school...I totally want to go but no one ever seems to want to join me...I can't even begin to fathom why...WE SHOULD GO. it's such a fall activity, too, man...so epic.

  5. SWEET. it's a plan...let's aim for a wknd in October...I really want to go on Halloween, since it's FUCKING HALLOWEEN, or the day before, since I'm sure you have plans...but to relive that day, one of the best days of my life? I'd do it anytime!

  7. i want to go the ren. fair! i was just thinking about the one that's happening near cape cod soon - i usually go every year. i used to dress up, but not as much any more . shh, don't tell anyone!

  13. jennifer--will do...and the next wknd is oktoberfest...I've always wanted to go to oktoberfest, NATURALLY one outside of germany...but I'll figure out my schedule and email you...and you've got me beat with the beer wench idea...I totally just wanted to be a glass blower or yeoman.

    kate--omg dude, every time I've loaded this page I've given the screen a fist bump...mostly b/c I'm fascinated w/the fact that the fist is the same size as my fist and I feel like I really am fist bumping someone else

    lexie--the key for me is that I've totally disassociated the real meaning of "douchebag" from the word in my mind...I think it's b/c I never really knew what it meant, or thought I did but was totally wrong haaah
