Becca Stadtlander, pt. 2

I've been contemplating taking a break from my print hoarding and buying some legit original artwork. Some canvas and vellum. I'm hoping that within the next few months I'll be able to save up some cash and maybe commission something, and I really want a piece of Becca's work. "The Girl in Green" has to be one of my favorites yet; the combo of media is just too good.

  3. Great choice/piece. I love the dust of freckles.

I feel you on the hoarding, we have boxes of prints we've collected over the last couple of years and so far we only hung up 3 or four pieces.

  4. AH, I know! I really wish I could frame all of my prints, since I hate pasting them to the wall w/painter's tape (and I feel like I'm damaging them), but I just can't afford the framing costs! plus, I really want to see the texture from a piece's medium and know that I have an original...I guess this dearth in one's collection happens as a result of not having enough artist friends early on in life!

p.s. I'm totally going to frame that popsicle drawing you sent me...and I plan on sending you something back (FINALLY) in a few weeks, as I'm finishing it up presently...I am such a slacker
