SNOW DAY

I never thought I'd be able to enjoy inclement weather as much as I do now in my twenties. I can really get into this teaching thing.

I decided to take a few photos of my new immediate surroundings during the downtime. It's so nice to have your things out of storage, serving their proper function instead of being sequestered in (mice-infested) cardboard boxes.
On another note, I was lucky enough to score the Dunderdon lj35 parka from Ming on LoGE (which is making a partial appearance in the above third photo), and I'm absolutely infatuated. It's super warm and there's this secret pocket that I'm obsessed with (for lodging metro cards). Plus it's quite chic. Buy that shit; it's on sale now.

  1. Hi Megan. Do you think the Dunderdon parka runs big or small? I've always wanted to get one, but wasn't sure of the sizing.

  2. Heeeey Amanda--the jacket I got from Ming was a size small (which is my size for dresses/coats), and I would categorize it as running pseudo-tts/perhaps a bit small, as I noticed it's snug around the bust...but I like the fit a lot, so no complaints here...hopefully that's helpful!

  7. you can come over whenever you like, Jennifer! I was just thinking abt that today, how rude I've been that I haven't invited you over...but I usually leave the place in shambles when I'm rushing out of the house to meet you, since I'm ALWAYS late, so I must be more proactive/neat next time!

Lexie! I got your email, and will be totally all over that shortly...and believe it or not, that kitty figure is actually made out of some kind of stone, carved by this lady in Morocco, whom my bestie asked to make a cat for me...so she did it there, right in front of him...preeeeeetty cool!

and why shouldn't we be, Laura? all the cool ppl love snow days...though I slept during most of mine, HAH.

I definitely need to add some new additions to the print wall, Kate, but it is looking good, I agree...I'm very proud of that wall, though I guess not very modest! how is your place coming together, since you guys recently moved?

  14. thanks, Camila!

and, UGGGGH, I am so jealous, Lindsay! we only had a 2-hr delay ystdy, though I was praying for a cancellation...instead all we got was nasty rain! and, ohhh, how I would love some hypo-allergenic kitties! but I think I'll be taking the safe route and adopting a dog this summer...though it would be SO MUCH nicer if he could learn to use a litter box...
