Long story short, the stupendously lovely Jenna and Cary of Ace & Jig contacted me about doing a giveaway, so here we are! Up for grabs is the red stripe crop cardi from the duo's Spring/Summer 2011 collection in a size small (my personal favorite from the season, and it would definitely fit a handful of sizes in light of its cut). As I'm lucky enough to own the cardi myself (in addition to two other Ace & Jig dresses), I can attest to the fact that it does not disappoint: the colors are gorgeous, the fabric's beautifully made, and the boxy cut is ueber flattering.

Fav is Dromaeosaurus because they were scary bird like and had feathers. I would call myself Persephone Phoenix (which is also my made up Harry Potter name) em-bar-ras-sing!

Ha! This is funny because my partner has nicknamed me Raptor because when I am excited I sometimes make this noise that sounds like the Velociraptor on Jurassic Park. And because I am tall, skinny and a bit awkward like the Velociraptor too. So I guess I Raptor it is for me. OMG I can't believe I just shared that on the internet. I want to be a mix of brontosauras and the triceratops because those two were my favorite growing up. I always thought the triceratop looked so magical with its unicorn horn and the bronto looked so peaceful munching on some leaves.

i've always had a thing for the brontosaurus. i feel like in grade school we learned they have something like 5 hearts which is pretty damn cool. and i'll go with brooke the brontosaurus as my dinosaur name. boring i know, but this whole thing is making me think of my childhood, and i used to tell people my name was brooke for some reason when i was little.
